Welcome to the inaugural Region 6 Young Rider Cook Book Fundraiser!

We need to collect as many recipes as possible to create a fantastic cook book and picture book to sell not only through out the horse community but also to your friends and family outside of that community.  We are looking to have all the recipes together along with pictures and short bios of the recipe donators together by the end of February.  We’d like to have it printed and ready for sale and distribution by the beginning of April so it’s ready for the show season!

This idea is to create a cook book filled with fun and easy recipes along with pictures of the Young RIders throughout Region 6 to work not only as a cook book, but also a “get to know the riders” with in the region.  We encourage EVERYONE to submit a recipe; YOung Riders, parents, trainers, friends etc.  If you submit a recipe, you will be able to include pictures that will be published throughout the cook book, a bio that will go along with your recipe and contact information ie a website or business info as a promotion for you.  We are looking for all kinds of recipes so the cook book not only attracts people within the horse community, but also people outside the horse community.  We’d like to have easy meals, desserts, appetizers etc and also a section just for HORSE COOKIES! 

When sending in your recipe, please include your name and info (How you are related to the Region 6 Young Rider Program if you are not a Young Rider, ie a riders trainer, parent, friend or sponsor), a short bio and hopefully a picture.  We’d like to make the cook book as much a cook book as a picture book of the Region 6 Young Riders.  YOU MUST submit a recipe in order to have a picture published in the cook book!

Hey Everyone!

NOW IS THE TIME to get your recepies, photos and bios IN!!!

We have a couple, but NOT ENOUGH.  If we don’t get enough together to make the cook book fly, we won’t be doing it and ANOTHER fund raising opportunity will have passed us by.  We are getting closer and closer to the NAJYRC by the day and we have not moved one step closer in the fund raising department.  At this rate, EVERYONE will be PAYING THEIR OWN WAY to Lexington.
